Sex offender information is managed through the Erie County Sheriff’s Office using a system called OffenderWatch® which is then entered and available for distribution to the community. This site includes only the offenders that are managed by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and cooperating agencies, including the Kenmore Police Department.
Using the Offender search screen, you can search by area, name, city, and even non-compliant offenders.
Using the free OffenderWatch App, parents can locate registered sex offenders nearby, track the location of their children, get email alerts, and contact the Sheriff’s office. For better online safety, parents may choose to add monitoring of their child’s phone. Parents will be alerted should a sex offender contact their child or if the child lingers near an offender’s home.
Sex offenders are identified by Risk Level
- Level 1 (low risk of repeat offense)
- Level 2 (moderate risk of repeat offense)
- Level 3 (high risk of repeat offense – threat to public safety exists)
