Feb 5, 2025 – Christopher Ring has been appointed as a Trustee for the Village of Kenmore Board of Trustees. After his appointment, Trustee Ring was sworn in by Village Justice Katherine Bestine. His family and friends were also in attendance.
Trustee Ring will be filling the vacancy created by the departure of Trustee Andrea Czopp, who resigned after the January 21, 2025 Board meeting. Ms. Czopp said it was a difficult decision to leave the Board, but that she felt that her work obligations precluded her from giving the time necessary to properly execute her responsibilities to the Kenmore community. Mayor Mang wished her well and thanked her for all she had done as a Board member.
Christopher Ring is both a Village resident and business owner. As such, he brings a unique perspective to the Board. In addition, he has substantial experience with various not-for-profits in Western New York.
Trustee Ring was also appointed as Water and Sanitation/Sewer Commissioner, Public Works & Utilities Commissioner, and as a member of the Grievance and Capital Expenditure committees.
