Donna Genesky Installed as New Trustee

Dec 9, 2024 – The Village’s re-organization meeting was held on December 3, 2024.  The meeting began with the installation of Donna Genesky as a new Trustee.  Trustee Genesky was elected to this position in November, and will be filling the vacancy for the seat previously held by Trustee Joe DeCecco, who passed away in June.  Donna was sworn in by Kenmore’s Village Justice, Katherine Bestine, who previously served as a Trustee.  Judge Bestine told Trustee Genesky that she served on the Board of Trustees for 23 years, and that it was one of the most rewarding things she’s ever done.  Trustee Genesky was also appointed by the Mayor to serve as Commissioner of Administration and Finance and Commissioner of the Building Department.  She will also serve as Housing Authority Liaison and will be on the Insurance, Tax and Capital Expenditures committees.
