EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS, ONE PERSONNEL, ONE FINANCIAL AND ONE CONTRACTUAL MATTER.                            

Trustee Muscarella moved to go into Executive Session to discuss three personnel and three litigation matters.
Seconded by Trustee Bestine and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.

Trustee McCarthy moved to end the Executive Session.
Seconded by Trustee Catalano and adopted by a full vote of all members present.

BOARD APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF A MASTER ELECTRICIAN’S LICENSE TO SAMUAL CAMILLERI.                                                    

Trustee Bestine moved to approve the issuance of a Master Electrician’s license to Samuel Camilleri of 16 Hoover Avenue, Kenmore, New York 14217.
Seconded by Trustee Catalano and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED THE INVESTMENT REPORT FOR THE PERIOD OF APRIL 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010.                        

Trustee McCarthy moved to approve the Investment Report for the period of April 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010, a copy of which is appended to these minutes for record purposes.
Seconded by Trustee Catalano and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AN AGREEMENT WITH ERIE COUNTY PERTAINING TO THE KENMORE SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR 2010.            

Trustee Muscarella moved to approve an agreement with Erie County pertaining to the Kenmore Senior Nutrition Program for 2010, a copy of which is appended to these minutes for record purposes.
Seconded by Trustee Bestine and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION FOR POLICE OFFICER TIMOTHY PHILLIPS TO ATTEND AN INSTRUCTION COURSE.            

Trustee Catalano moved to approve and grant permission to Police Officer Timothy Phillips to attend a Firearms Instruction Course on August 16, 2010 through August 31, 2010 in Buffalo, with expenses.
Seconded by Trustee McCarthy and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF ARGONNE DRIVE TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.                    

Trustee Muscarella moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of Argonne Drive between Myron Avenue and Rowley Avenue to hold a block party on Saturday, August 14, 2010, with a rain date of Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the request of Kenna DePinto.
Seconded by Trustee Bestine and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF KNOWLTON AVENUE TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.                

Trustee Bestine moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of Knowlton Avenue between Colvin Boulevard and Rowley Avenue to hold a block party on Saturday, July 31, 2010, with a rain date of Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the request of Katie Burd.
Seconded by Trustee Muscarella and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF WARREN AVENUE TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.                

Trustee McCarthy moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of Warren Avenue between Colvin Boulevard and Rowley Avenue to hold a block party on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the request of Audrey Thomas.
Seconded by Trustee Catalano and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF CHARLESTON AVENUE TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.                

Trustee Muscarella moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of Charleston Avenue between Parkwood Avenue and Warren Avenue, including Euclid Avenue, to hold a block party on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the request of Anthony Lobrutto.
Seconded by Trustee Catalano and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF EAST GIRARD BOULEVARD TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.            

Trustee Bestine moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of East Girard Boulevard to hold a block party on Saturday, July 31, 2010, with a rain date of Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the request of Jeffrey and Colette Sikorski.
Seconded by Trustee Muscarella and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


BOARD APPROVED AND GRANTED PERMISSION TO THE RESIDENTS OF ARGONNE DRIVE TO HOLD A BLOCK PARTY.                    

Trustee Bestine moved to approve and grant permission to the residents of Argonne Drive between Colvin Boulevard and Rowley Avenue to hold a block party on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at the request of Gary Lachut.
Seconded by Trustee Muscarella and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.


ABSTRACT OF AUDITED VOUCHERS.                        
Trustee Bestine offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to sign the Abstract of Audited Vouchers dated July 20, 2010, in the amount of $654,761.08; General Fund $536,306.93; Water Fund $30,843.89; Sewer Fund $87,610.26 and to direct the Treasurer to pay each of the listed claimants in the amount appearing opposite his/her name.
Seconded by Trustee Muscarella and adopted by a full vote in the affirmative.

Mayor Mang asked if any one wished to be heard.
As no one wished to be heard, the meeting was adjourned.
The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will be August 3, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
