The Kenmore Planning Board was established to provide site plan review and approval on various permit applications. In addition, the Planning Board developed the Village Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan provides general information as to the appearance and needs, both now and in the future, for the Village Business Districts.
The Planning Board members are appointed to 5 year terms by the Mayor, with approval by the Board of Trustees. Planning Board members must be Village of Kenmore residents and/or business owners within the Village. Alternates are appointed annually.
The Planning Board typically reviews Sign Permit applications, Site Plans, Façade and Use changes.

The Planning board meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of the Kenmore Municipal Building. It is strongly recommended that all applicants be present to review their application with the Planning Board.

Featuring fresh local fruits & veggies, honey, maple syrup, cut flowers, baked goods & breakfast sandwiches, jam, doggie treats, seafood, dumplings, pickles, spices, olive oil & vinegar, craft alcohol, coffee, herbal products and much more! We host visits from food trucks, weekly musicians, the local library and more throughout the season! Looking forward to meeting you on the Village Green.

Municipal Green/Building
Join us on the Municipal Green for some holiday fun!
6:30 - Magician, Dave Jeffers, Holiday Trivia Contest with prizes, Carriage Rides, and holiday music.
6:45 - Holiday Sing Along
7:00 - Santa Arrives and lights the tree!!!
7:05 - Santa will meet with the kids inside the Municipal Building.
The Lake Effect will be singing inside the building.
Carriage Rides will continue until 8:30 PM
This event is jointly sponsored by the Village of Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda Youth Parks and Recreation Department.
Special thanks to the Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department for driving Santa to the event.
